Hello everyone, a year ago I encouraged type 2 diabetes, the progression to be worse until my doctor has done the tests to see if I have a straight guy.
For now I am putting what I think is an insulin barbarity but there is no way to have a glucose control, I am practically continued.
I am from Asturias and there is no way that in this community they send you to the endocrine I go for the 3 complaint and case.
Forgive the sheet but I needed to tell someone what happens to me and not look at me as if it were an extraterrestrial.
Good night to all.

@Astur
In your case I would go privately and pay to know what I have.In patient care they give you your history and take it to the private one.
With a private report, the header has no more noses than to send you to the endocrine of the SS.
So ignores you, put a complaint at the College of Physicians of Asturias.
But you are not the only one, I have a friend with 220 on an empty stomach and they have put him at a 1 month regime to prove when he has been with high values and with a regime not low from 160.

I can't get out of 175 on an empty stomach, I put 40 unds of slow insulin and fast insulin depending on the values you have before food.
The fact is that in Asturias family doctors have a master's degree in diabetes and try not to send you to the specialist under any concept, it seems that it has a penalty of excommunication or something.
I will try to go to patient care to see what happens, or I will get 6 buns I will take the glucose and enter by emergencies.

I asked to see if you were correctly studied. From what you say, your family doctor has done everything that is to be done in a case like yours, has asked for the tests to make a correct diagnosis and have started the proper treatment.
Now you have to adjust the dose to your needs.I do not see the urgency in distrust of your doctor and find a specialist.Personally I know a few family doctors who have a greater knowledge on subjects of a specialty than many specialists entitled.
Surely you will manage to adjust and control those glycemia.
Do you already have a visit with your dietitian and educator?
We think that diabetes is an endocrine issue and 80% of control is a good health education. It is very easy to say pine x units, the difficult thing is to learn to count hydrates, that some are absorbed faster than others, that physical activity counts as much as not eating that Magdalena ...

First of all, thank you very much for your answer
Well, I have no appointment with an educator or with dietitian, the diet gave me with heavy amounts something that I think is obsolete.
Nor do I have an event with any educator, but in the next appointment I will consult with my doctor. For now I am seeing documentation online looking at how insulin is calculated based on hydrates and others ... if you could turn any page to expand the information I would appreciate it very much

Maybe your problem is that, they have not taught you how to carry your diabetes.Talk to your doctor to see if they have a nutritionist.Look if there is any association in your area, they can tell you what resources you have there. On the Internet you can find help but it should not be the basis of your information.
If you need to have rations on the page of the Diabetes Foundation you have some things and I have some pots in which I count how to calculate how many daily rations they touch you.But at the entrance your treatment must be put by your toilets

Thank you very much, in the end the result is negative apparently I have insulin resistance.
How you told me I found an association in Asturias and I have the Diabetes Foundation documentation to count the hydrates.
