DM2 (2019)

They finance the strips everywhere, in my community (Andalusia), if you are DM type 1 always and if 2 only if you treat yourself with insulin.Apart, needles etc. The same, and if it is oral tto with pills by DM 2 because like all medicines.Apart the freestyle sensors to the type 1 DM in my community since February 2020 with the approval of your endocrine.

The measurement systems (capillaries, flash) or insulin pumps are only given to type 1 diabetics. If you are type 2 with a good contact in the SS they may give you glucose strips for capillary glucometers.The glucometer is given to you by the laboratory, the expensive are the strips and it is normal to use about 6 a day.
