When is diabetes day celebrated?

On November 14, World Diabetes Day (DMD) is commemorated is the most important diabetes awareness campaign.

It was established by the International Diabetes Federation (FID) and the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1991, in response to the alarming increase in cases of diabetes in the world.

In 2007, the United Nations first celebrated this day after the approval of the resolution in December 2006 of World Diabetes Day, which made the existing World Diabetes Day on an official UN Health Day.

Its purpose is to publicize the causes, symptoms, treatment and complications associated with the disease.World Diabetes Day reminds us that the incidence of this serious condition is increasing and this tendency will continue that we take actions from now on to prevent this enormous growth.

How did everything start?

World Diabetes Day was created in 1991 as a means to increase global awareness about diabetes.It is a perfect opportunity to direct the public's attention towards the causes, symptoms, complications and treatment of this serious condition, which is constantly increasing throughout the world.
