Someone with neuropathy?

Hello everyone! I am type 1 diabetic 21 years ago.

My average hemoglobin for a long time was 7, with high and low, but I can say that I never gave my best.3 years ago I am with more strict control and I maintain hemoglobin in 6. However, 2 years ago I started with a problem in the kidneys that was detected in time and keep it controlled with a medication.

This year I began to feel tingling on my feet and a feeling of "punctures" of a moments.As those sensations appear and disappear (now for example I feel nothing in particular) the neurologist I went to want to see me in 6 months to do another physical test and, in case of noticing changes, asking me for a study that analyzes the answerof nerves before stimuli.

I am really very depressed, I am still thinking ugly things in relation to my future.I would like to know if any of you suffers from neuropathy and how it carries it.I would help to meet experiences, with its "positive" and "negative" aspects.
