High fasting glucose, on how to reduce it without insulin or medicines

Nila's profile photo   02/24/2020 7:02 p.m.

Good afternoon,

When I get up and I have high glycemia (I mean environment 130-170), I don't know what they should, sometimes I relate it to what I have had dinner, other times I cannot relate it to that.I do not understand much of this topic, I do not take medications or have insulin.

I find it very difficultmost of the time the same.

If I have taken something at 7, when I get up, it is usually higher but at 10 I am already hungry again and breakfast. As I go with higher values, I no longer go down until, about 12, I see that it remains higher than before breakfast, obviously, but it already goes down when I get home at about 15, which I usually be between 90-115 approximately for food.

This topic demotivates me a lot, I don't know what to do.Lately I was regulating them very well, I had spent a few months without taking action and a little relaxed and when I returned it was in 169 and yesterday already 115 on an empty stomach.

Today instead in 153, I do not know if I had a spring roll and a booked prawn last night that uploaded the glucose, because it was a 208 hour and a half later, but of course I also took another thing I took something else that climbed me and up to date and up to date and up to dateNext was with the lowest glucose of 120.

This I suppose you have an explanation, maybe it has a name, to see if anyone can tell me to find information on the subject.

Thank you!

@Nila

Well I think you should consider telling the carbohydrates that you eat.It is not difficult. If you more or less try to eat more or less a fixed amount of carbohydrates in breakfast, food and dinner, you can check what happens to you.

And of course do not take an excess of rapid absorption carbohydrates per day.

I can only like that as a suggestion!

I do not usually take cho of rapid absorption.

But does that situation have a name that is higher?I would like to inform myself better on the subject, but when looking on the Internet, what comes out is information on diagnosis of diabetes, not about these symptoms when you already know that you are diabetic.

You say that you have diagnosed diabetes, but since 2015 you have not prescribed anything. In the MODY, after 4 or 5 years it is usually controlled with insulin.Tell your doctor these mismatches.

It depends on the MODY.This week I am keeping it low on an empty stomach, really.I think it depends a lot on what I am.My mother spent 7 years without medication and after that she has been with oral medication for 20 years.

Very well, then insists on those dinners that are working well. That maybe it avoids the phenomenon of dawn and that uploads to you.You have in mind that hormones can perfectly activate glucose generation.I think the longer you are with your "honeymoon" better. But if you see that you have high values, go to the endocrine.

Maybe it would be good that in a blood analytics that you have to do (eg by check) you ask to include a HBA1C control (when more about 6% better) to see how you get out.You can repeat it in three more/less months

all the best

Thank you so much!!!I will continue like this, if, until June I have no analytics, to see how it comes out, I will continue controlling dinners.I am going out to walk quickly and starting to run, I think it is also coming to me very well

Check your cycle, point if the increases are with ovulation or 3.4 days before menstruation.Hormones imbalance everything.

hello.I did not understand well.In your firm it says that you have diabetes from 03/15 but that you are not medicated. Is 1 or 2 diabetes?Don't you even have metformin? An fasting glucose of 160 is very high, it can be the phenomenon of Alba or Semogyi syndrome.Read more here-> Link

Another thing you can try is an intermittent fasting 16/8, that is, at 8pm you have your last food and no longer test until 12 the next day.Measure your sugar before bedtime, when you get up, before ingesting the 1st morning food (12th day) and 2 hours later. So you can see how your body is handling glucose. In theory, intermittent fasting and low consumption of carbohydrates can even reverse type 2 diabetes.

The ideal is less than 110 on an empty stomach and less than 180 two hours after eating.During the intermittent fasting it is likely that on an empty stomach you will have something tall (120 - 130) but it is normal at the beginning since not ingesting carbohydrates during the night and early the liver use the glucagon to climb the glucose in the blood.

You should also see how your hydration is.The weight in kilos between 7 is the amount of 250ml water vessels to be taken in the day.
