It will give me something

Good morning compis.

I am the mother of a 23 -year -old boy, poorly and with many other serious pathologies.Debuted with 6 with type 1 DM.

And it is very very bad.All your care depends on me alone and with respect to diabetes I no longer know what else I can do to go into values.

I know all the theory in the heart, but what works for me one day is terrible to the next.

I do not feel very supported by my medical team and less now that with the COVID they dedicate 5 min by phone and they do not solve anything.

His answer is always "you know what to do, that you have all the papers we gave you ..."

The fact is that applying the theory, with its diet, guidelines and corrections studied with care and full dedication, nothing works for me.

It is always very high, very high or very low ... I am desperate. He is asymptomatic and cannot warn me according to his feelings as it is, so they just put the sensor, more than anything for facilitating their figures and trends ... but it gives so much info and as visual that far from helping meHe is creating trauma.

Small spikes, small figures, graphic wickens !!He is going to give me something, because maybe before I also did, but at least, I didn't see them!😔😔😔😔

The fact is that tomorrow, afternoon and night, I hear the bell of the alarms and break down.Do not sleep is torture and every 2h I have to go look at him and correct whatever is happening, if necessary, and although one day is hiccup to the next one is hyper ...

Anyway, I need a lot of support and a lot of help, because nobody lends it to me and I am alone and sunk. You are my hope
Thanks for accepting me.

A very strong hug, Compis.😘

Hello, I am 20 years old and since I have been the freestyle and alarms, for about 2 years, the nights are being the worst for me and they are diminishing my energies and my dream, since I usually wake up many days. This is something very hard and difficult, and that should not be tolerated.

Therefore, a few months ago, I decided to ask my endocrine insulin bomb and granted it.I keep waiting for them to put it on, and I think that about March 2021 I should receive news to put it on, and thus manage my diabetes for me, even at night, which is what I need.

I do not know if you had heard about the bombs, but it may be your solution as well.

Good luck and greetings.

@daniel_y_yo, welcome to the forum.
Is it very important that you can sleep, maybe you can space the alarms a bit, between 55 and 190?
If you were better without the free .., it is also important that you take care of yourself.
I guess you use slow and fast insulin, and that you already know how to control more than anyone., might take other medications that alter values?, Or what is very nervous?Or how do you eat hidden?
In what we can help, here we are.
What insulins do you use?
Much encouragement, take care of yourself.A hug.

Thanks a lot!🙏🤗
Use Tresiba and Novorapid. While it is true that it takes other medications, they are supervised by their other specialists and recommended about not interfering with their diabetes.I have taken them for years. In fact one of them is to calm his nerves, because yes.Is always nervous ...
What I wonder is why it has been like that, taking medication and knowing their nerve attacks, I am unable to adjust the insulin doses so that it enters stable values ... I am really desperate.I don't give one and I feel more than dumb.It makes me angry. It gives me courage. It gives me sadness ....
Eating, does not eat anything without my supervision is with me all day and I can guarantee that.
Thank you very much for your support and chest message!🙏🤗

@daniel_y_yo calmize. You do everything you can, the body is often inexplicable.
Interferes everything: mood, medications, hormones, stress, etc. When it is not one thing, it is another. We go from hyperglycemia to hypoglycemia in less than 24 hours.

Patience and do not overwhelm, change alarms to larger ranges or quiet at night, leave the hiccup alone.

It is a matter of time to return to their values, it happens to all.

Hi friend,

I have really been excited to read you, what a great anger that we have to go through this. What can I tell you?I hope with all my heart that better times come, I am sure that it will be.Diabetes has very bad streaks, I now find my son too.The important thing is that you are as well as possible and take care of you, it is very important that we are fine so that they also see us well.Regarding the continuous glucose meter, the same thing happened to me, I happened to look at him all day and now I am like this. When he is uncontrolled, he spent the day looking at that happy device but I see it normal, if they were fine we would not have to look at it so much.I also dread these sounds, I even dreamed with them.In the end one gets used to it because there are also good seasons.I send you a super hug from Spain, I don't know if you will be from here.A kiss and encouragement! You are a fighter!

Hello!
I believe that I could help make a low hydrates diet, so it would not have to get a lot of insulin and the peaks would be reduced both to the discharge, the handling being easier.

A suggestion, calm down, if you have read everything, you will know that anguish is one of the factors that can shoot glucose levels. If the apparatus is killing you with the Beep every so often, your child must be putting it very badly is Apadratito and his mother next to the anguish.Take some relaxation therapy and share it with him, put on play, dance, exercise. It is very important to seek to calm down.
Another advice, do not apply insulin before bedtime, see it with your doctor but I would suggest that you do it in the morning or afternoon, you will have time to control you when you are awake.
I guess they sent him a diet that must follow strictly, take care that he does not eat anything out of the prescribed, that he always eats at the same time and in the indicated amounts.A lot of strength
