Hello!I have type 2 diabetes for 1 year.
As with Forxiga and Velmetia I did not control the glucose, the doctor has passed me to taujeo insulin.
I am discouraged because I think I do not know my diabetes or control it, I have 70-80 glycemia when I wake up and 360 postpandracial peaks during the day.I don't know if I should consult an endocrine, my header doctor or consider it, but I am very scared with this.
Greetings to all

Hello!Well, I'm going to tell you what they told me and it has served me a lot.If your header, who by the way, is not a diabetes specialist, cannot control you, insist much to send you the endocrine, which is what it is for.
I do not understand the mania of many doctors not to send the endocrine. They are the ones who know about the subject. That gives you guidelines and treatment and then follow the topic of the header. It is your health.Luck.

See the endocrine ... what mania they have with not deriving to type 2!And that from me from the first moment an endocrine tried (although it gives to tell stories of horror my experience with that woman), but for example my father because he goes private, but I could already continue with the header doctor ...

DM2 (2019)

Basal glycemia of 70 or 80 are magnificent, taking into account that glucometers usually measure less. 360 peaks are not avoided by basal insulin, the only way is to complement it with an oral antihyperglucemic or fast insulin, by supesto if the dietAnd the exercise has not helped you, I do not recommend just a endo but those that are needed until you see that your problem has solved you, never give up .... I encourage

DM3c desde 2018; hb 6 % (feb.. 2022) (tresiba+fiasp+metformina)

You need the endocrine to design a tailored treatment.Glycemia in the morning of 80 is super, but those of 300+ must be controlled. The endocrine of insurance will help you a lot.encouragement
