I think it is one of the big problems of this forum, it does not differ when talking about diets if you are type 1 or 2 and sometimes they give wrong advice for this reason and they are diseases that although they are called the same they have a treatment and a dietcompletely different.I would have to make an effort to differentiate both types.

They say no.
What is true is that the mother of a friend of mine ate many sweets, she was diagnosed with diabetes with pills, stopped eating sweets and ended up removing the pills and until today (she is 88 years old ...).

I know that you can, but you don't tell you what type 2 you have to be so it can happen.
A overweight friend of mine, very overweight, stopped taking medication after weight loss after a weight reduction operation.

I referred to that.If it is the bad habits that cause you resistance to insulin (but the pancreas works well for you) my theory is that if you change the bad habits and the resistance is leaving because medication would not be needed.The issue is that sometimes that resistance has overflow the pancreas and is damaged, so it is another story.
