Digital education for type 1 diabetes

Hello!
I am designing, in an investigation, a digital intervention model for type 1 diabetic patients (DT1), but I would like to know your opinion about: what do you think is empowerment (both from the point of view of those who are diabetic, and fromthe point of view of professionals in the sector as well as relatives)?.
I think this concept is not well adopted in general.
It would also be interesting to know that, despite the fact that there are various digital tools for DT1, I see that few of them emphasize educational content (changes in habits, share good practices, communication with specialized or primary ... etc).
What do you think?
What characteristics do you see to have at hand?
