Can the static bike help lower glucose level?

I have had the sugar at high levels, I have begun to reverse this situation that is why I am going to start on the static bike but I do not know if it is an activity that helps me to regulate blood sugar levels.

If I lose many calories when doing the activity on the bicycle means that I will also be burning so to speak blood sugar?
