Digestion and diabetes

How do heavy digestions influence glucose control?

It often happens to me that, at two hours of eating, after rapid insulin injection, my glucose levels are more or less normal.

At 3 or 4 hours I do another control and I have the glucose much higher, without eating anything.

Does something happen to anyone?

Yes, to all.It is normal.Fats and proteins metabolize slowly and become carbohydrates at 3 hours. You have to replenish insulin.

Ideally, eat about 100 g of protein and no fats so as not to have this problem.
