How to know if insulin has spoiled

Good morning.Lantus use.I wanted to know if there is any way to know if insulin has become bad.I have little left to finish the ball, this weekend I finish it because I am on a trip and I have brought it to me.The issue is that I am uploading the number of units because I am noticing that on an empty stomach what we wanted to control because I was getting higher.One day I had a forgetfulness and I thought it could be for that but days later I am getting higher than previous weeks although I am raising the amount.I do not see her murky or notice anything weird, if perhaps a bubble that moves her quickly, as if she were more liquid, but I don't know

It happened to me with Toujeo. As I apply little, I exhaust the time of use of the ball that, in theory, is six weeks.I raised the dose believing that I was finishing my honeymoon and when it touched the pen change I entered hypoglycemia.The change of pen with which I left a few days was out and then I did not relate it, I thought it was because I had more physical activity.It was exhausting, I was by Andalusia, it was December and I had bought mantecados for the family and I spent two days zampando mantecados like a rioter, because it is what I had at hand.
Since then I dispose of the pen at 5 weeks, I do not exhaust the 6.
If the glycemia climb does not seem normal, replace the ball.It may have been at more temperature than adequate or spoiled without more.If with the new ball you are still the same is that your needs are changing.
In my case, the inulin was transparent, apparently perfect and I was very novice, it happened to me in December and I had debuted in September.

It seems that the effect of insulin is not the same when you start the pen q when you have been a while.I have proven it.
At 4 weeks it begins to make less effect.Therefore, I at four or five weeks, waste the ball, even if I stay.

Thank you so much.I just finished it today by putting me 18, tomorrow I will put myself with the new 18 just in case I need for what is more (I am also eating more and I have passed a shine regulate) and if I see that I get a lot of fasting I will go down again.
I had a forgetfulness of the bag in the car that was sunbathing and when I realized I was hot, I suppose it will have been spoiled or less effective

Mine has nothing to do with insulin, but I put an injectable hormone that had been expired in its ampoule and the endocrine and tell me that this is impossible for it to work when it was expired, but when I did the analyzesthan closing the mouth, the hormone levels had them high !!

The bubble is normal, which you have to verify that whenever you wear it, it is totally transparent, like water.
