9th diabetes cup Spain, soccer tournament for minors with diabetes

The Lilly Pharmaceutical Company has opened the registration period in the ninth edition of CUP Spain Diabetes, a soccer tournament for minors with diabetes that, with the collaboration of the Spanish Diabetes Federation (Fede), a member of Somos Patients, will be played inLas Rozas Soccer City (Madrid), headquarters of the Spanish soccer team, on September 10 and 11.

As Fede explains, “thanks to this tournament, minors will learn to be independent in their pathology and socialize with others who also suffer from it.And, in addition, they will feel very privileged to play in what is the official headquarters of the Royal Spanish Football Federation and the Spanish National Team. ”

For children with diabetes it is essential to adopt healthy lifestyle habits from very early ages, in case of a balanced diet and exercise practice, which allow them to live their pathology normally, in a healthy way and avoiding possible future complications derived fromsame

Hence the importance of CUP diabetes, an open tournament to the participation of diagnosed minors and ages between 8 and 12 years that, for the ninth consecutive year, will affect the importance of physical activity in this group.

And to all this it is added that, thanks to this tournament, the parents of the little players can enjoy seeing their children fun practicing sports, always with the peace of mind that they will be supervised by specialized health professionals.

To participate in the tournament, interested children should only explain why they want to take part in it through a writing, a photograph, a drawing or a video.And among all participants, the organizers will select a total of 60 players.
