Only 1 in 2 people with diabetes in Spain claims to have good control

This study is part of the '#Lideatudiabetes' campaign, carried out by the Spanish Society of Endocrinology and Nutrition (SEEN), the Spanish Diabetes Federation (Fede) and Dexcom with the aim of empowering people with diabetes in the shotdecisions about their control and treatment.

Regarding the use of digital applications for the control and monitoring of glucose, the data this work, carried out between 1,495 Spaniards with diabetes, are similar since only one third of the total respondents (33%) are a user.Within this group, women with gestational diabetes (81%) and people with type 1 diabetes stand out as more frequent users.On the contrary, most people with type 2 diabetes (83%) are not a user of this type of applications.

However, there is still a margin of improvement, since only 3 out of 10 people with diabetes (30%) is a user of any of the advanced technologies available for glucose control, while 20% do not use any system for theControl of your glucose frequently.
