Lactose and glucometer measurement

Hello friends, I have the impression that the glucometer is not sensitive to lactose because after drinking milk I notice that thirst and desire to urinate increase and instead measure myself with the glucometer and I am not high, it gives me normal values.Any of you have information about it?
Thank you so much

@fosphorero, maybe it is a rapid peak that has already happened when you measure yourself with the glucometer. The sensor would detect it.
Lactose also degrades in glucose, but if the rapid is adjusted, the peak can be avoided.

The glucometer measures blood results.Where they come from influences (if you are high by stress, lactose or by whatever, you are high, which is what measures).
Another thing is, as Regina says, that the rise does not match the time to measure you. With the sensor everything is seen ...
