6 million people with diabetes can benefit from the update of the vaccine plan

Information about the recommended vaccines for people with diabetes has been updated.Traditionally, flu vaccination, pneumococcus and hepatitis B have been advised.
However, thanks to the progress and the most recent scientific evidence, vaccination against herpes zóster is also included and the importance of the COVID-19 vaccine emphasizes, making sure to receive the doses of cousin and at least one reinforcement.
It is essential that we all stay up to date with these recommendations, since people with diabetes are more susceptible to serious complications if we contract these diseases.
For example, the risk of hospitalization due to pneumonia is significantly greater among us, which can lead to additional complications and negatively affect our quality of life.
