Freestyle must be put 24 hours before activating it for more reliable results and yet ... some of them are badly badly. They usually fail more every time they make software changes.

For me, the summary of everything I read is that Freestyle Free 2 is not reliable on numerous occasions. In my case, I have come to have differences from 60 down. With those measurements, impossible to be sure of anything. And the worst, impossible for the endocrine to set the data reflected in the APP and the Abbot website.

In my opinion, these incidents are already in public domain and health authorities should take action on the matter by being devices financed with public money.

Of course and 100% in what you say, I do not dare to make the leap to dispense with the sensor strips because it does not give me that minimum guarantee and I cannot expose my control without the reliability of the strips.

I agree that health would have to do something, that they will not do it because who are the top responsibles to protect themselves in "giving away" sensors to so many patients.

Apart from that if the complaint does not come from below, from the endocrine that they deal with these data, the leaders are going to make.

But what about the associations) such as the Fede, the associations of the communities or is it the Diabetes Zero Foundation that speak in the mouth of all diabetics and some obtain income from the quotas paid by the associated people? Why know this problem of reliability in measurements even above that recognized by ABBOTT itself do not pronounce?

Why are they for the well -being and defense of diabetics do not do any public action to disseminate and take action?

@UviPeró either the discards so fast, not that they go well and suddenly or randomly give you a measure of 50 less.

When 50 units is diverted, all the 50 less marks those 50 less. And you see it and you know.ANDOnce it is adjusted and it's going well, it's fine all the time.

In my case in half of the sensors I have had, the first day (sometimes only 12 hours or less) marked about 50 less. But the following 13-14 was already perfect.

And now sensors have left other brands such as Sibionics, Sinocare, Linx ... But if you look at what users think at Amazon they put your hair standing. And the same if you see the opinions about Dexcom or Guardian, fromAmerican diabetics in Tiktok.Outside this forum, the sensors that I see best valued are those of Freestyle.

No, if you discard it, I don't rule it out @Sherpa41, I'm more valuing to buy a couple of freestyle 3 sensors to go doing my tests. But if it gives me "panic" to dispense with that effectiveness of the strips. But it is clear that I have to take the step at some point.Thank you very much for your advice and comments.

It seems like every brand is going to release their glucose sensor.Accu-Chek has also already released one:

The Accu-Chek one reads 50 less on the first day, but it seems to adjust later.

Of course, it looks huge next to the Libre3, I would say that it is even bigger than the Libre2.
