TheDCRA( Link) together with the collaboration of theDr. Elena SandriFrom the Catholic University of Valencia we are carrying out theSabidi study.We intend to analyze theCulinary competences and habits of people with type 1 and 2 diabetes compared to healthy Spanish population.Through an online validated questionnaire, data on culinary knowledge, frequency and cooking techniques, and sociodemographic variables are collected.

HeaimIt is to identify differences according to type of diabetes and glycemic control level, and explore how factors such as age, sex or training influence eating habits.The study uses a transverse design with statistical analysis and automatic learning models.

TheresultsThey could serve to design personalized nutritional interventions and food education strategies that promote healthy and sustainable cuisine, with impact on chronic disease prevention and management.
