Does anyone in the forum are in the same situation and can you give me some light?

Well, I don't think so.Although today there are studies and statistics for everything.

My father has severe apnea and no diabetes.

Apnea is a respiratory issue, the pneumologist is managed and the DT2 is a pancreatic theme, we are going endocrinology. One gives you a respirator and checks you every year to see how you go and make you proof of sleep in situ, and the other, the DT2 is managed by the head doctor pills and/or insulin according to each case.
