Hello everyone
A while ago, that I go to bed with the perfect glycemia, around 100-120, and thus remains throughout the night, until 5.00 that begins to rise until 7.30 that I get up with 230-280, without taking anything, or anything, is it when I get up, will it be the phenomenon of the dawn?Anyone happened to you?

Hello! You might need slower, if you put it in the morning. There are seasons to vary the dose a bit.
Sometimes it is solved by increasing slow unit .., or two .. I don't know if it will be your case.

It happens to me the same.It is the phenomenon of Alba.My endocrine has recently prescribed that the slow I. increases in 2 units, and does not work.I correct with the rapid I..

Hi @gijonessugar1984!
What you describe has all the look of being the famous Phenomenon of Alba.It happens to many: glycemia remains stable during the night and begins to rise inexplicably just before waking us.It has to do with the release of certain hormones (such as cortisol and growth hormone) that increase insulin resistance at dawn.
Some ideas that you could comment with your endocrine:
- Adjust slow insulin (as Regina and Rubioares have already said).Sometimes it is enough to increase one or two units or even change the administration time if you put it in the morning.
- Assess a change of basal insulin type. There are some that cover those critical hours better.
- Using a corrector bolus when you wake up, if your medical equipment sees it well and you are using pump or multiple doses.
- Check the pull and patterns with the sensor, if you use one, to see that beak in more detail.
You are not alone with this!It is something very common and, although it costs to refine it, it can be improved.Thank you for sharing it, surely helps others detect the same.
And by the way, if you have not yet done so, I encourage you to take a look at the book to live with diabetes: the power of the online community.Talk just about these real experiences and how among all we can help us get it better.💙
A big hug and encouragement,

Hi.
It depends on me !!hahaha (I'm from Galicia)
Well, I mean that my body does not fit any rule (it is rebellious !!). Sometimes if I have the phenomenon of dawn but it does not upload much. I like flat insulin at night. Always at 9 pm, (as the sensor does not spend strips I look at it several times). At 23 hours I look at it that is supposed toI never tune with less than 140. If I get a lot I take something sweet or similar (I have already taken the truquillo). I always go to bed at midnight (except spree and unforeseen) and before going to the bathroom (teeth etcI have my cookies and sugars on the bedside.
Greetings.

It is happening to me lately than desired, but I associate the stress that I am suffering from those morning hyperglycemia on an empty stomach, because they were not common things in me.

It happens to me too, but in my case I think it is due to the severe apnea of the dream that I suffer, in response to decrease the level of oxygen dissolved in the blood
Diabetes tipo 2 desde 2014, 850 mg de Metformina al día, neuropatía periférica desde 2020
And why are you not trying to put a unit when the effect of the rapid passes and going?
