Hello good,
They have offered me in the endocrine to change some Medtronic sensors that I understand that they are called simple.
Bad:
- The app is compatible with very few mobiles
- The sensor itself is square, that is, I worry that the corners get hooked
-It's good:
- It offers me (according to my endocrine) many more facilities such as a calculation of the ratio or things like that.
I would like to know someone to use these sensors and tell me your experience.
Thank you so much!

Hello!
I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 freshly reset of the factory with the MINIMED MOBILE app and read them perfectly, I am with the new version that in theory lasts 7 days but the first one that I have lasted has lasted four, hehe, we will see is stillsoon.
They hook much less than the frrestyle, that since you put them until the readings begin, there is a waiting time of 2 hours, although there is a trick to overwhelm the old and the new one and do not lose readings, but"In theory" I would no longer cover a guarantee against Medtronic.
The calculation of the ratio is not for the sensor, that is calculated for the insulin pump andAs far as I know,It can be done with any sensor, perhaps it refers to the reports they provide, which can be calculated more easily

Hello! The Simplera can be associated with the smart pen inpen, then with your ratios recorded in the app (the inpen app that is linked to your Medtronic account, I do not know if I explain 😅) Yes it tells you how much you should put in each meal calculating it with the value of the sensor.Let's say it is like a bomb but that insulin, you put it on.
Then it is simple Sync that is the one that the pump works, and its app is Minimed Mobile.

Hello!I have been hearing the simple one since last year and asking the sky that in Hospital Reina Sofía de Córdoba they have it, along with the infusion set to extend. In my case, for other medical and mobility difficulties, both would become very good.
The simple one, because I need to help other people to put the Guardian 4 and, with Simplera I think he could alone and, in addition, because his updates despairs you.The set extend, logically because changing the catheter every 7 days instead of every 3, things are very facilitated.
Since November of last year they have been saying at the hospital that they are in it… but it never comes! The last thing they tell me is that with the production or distribution line, it has Medtronic problems and that is why it does not arrive.I speak with Medtronic and they tell me that they don't know those problems.
Do you use it here and have any of these problems that tell me?And, if you use it, are you happy? How are you doing?
Thank you very much and greetings !!

In Granada it began to be distributed simple at the end of last year.My son was given in December along with the intelligent pen inpen.Calculated the grams of HC grams in meals/insulin necessary the INPEN acts as a pre-pump since it calculates the necessary insulin before each meal and if you have to make corrections after meals. The use of Simplera is very comfortable since the sensor is already preloaded (Freestyle must be loaded in the applicator). How my son is an athlete, I prevent the possible "hooks" of the sensor with a piece of fixomull on top, it is a transtable and hypoallergenic transparent adhesive. The sensor's handicap is its duration of 7 days, which are rarely completed mostly if there is bleeding when placing the sensor, a frequent thing in my child's case. The good thing is that they replenish the sensors with any failure without having to send them back as it happened with freestyle.
In your case, I do not know the use of simple insulin pump but the sensor itself is recommended 100%, although as always each person is a world. All the best

Thank you very much for your information @aliciasm !!Do you have problems with the supply-distribution of the simple sensors?I think the sensors are the same, you use it with the INPEN or with the 780g pump.Because that is the reason that they give me from the hospital not to put it on me yet. They tell me that it is a problem of stock, distribution or logistics, I do not know, but I understand that, if that is true, those who use it, you would also have that problem of not getting, that's why I have asked.Thank you very much, again
