Well, the day I was afraid since I had to buy another glucometer like the one I have to have one in my work backpack and another at home has come and I saw that I did not find it anywhere: it is almost impossible to find the strips.I have the accu-chek aviva, and I am very happy with him (when I did the test at the same time that the analytics the value obtained was very similar, he barely differed in 2-3 units), but for reasons outside theGlucometer ... and I am lost there. The one I have took it in my trusted pharmacy, and I already knew him because he was the one my mother had, but now I am lost and I do not know which one to take ...

Recommendations?Suggestions?Although I look at opinions, I find good and bad for the same device and I do not know which one to take ... the precision at least in low values is essential in my case ... I say in low values because I do not use insulin, but oral antidiabetics and with theRybelsus I do not notice the hypos, so when I whistle the sensor I need to check (you know how precise it is ... it usually measures me more, although sometimes it gives the vená and measures me to miss) to be able to act consequently(Zumito if I'm low, nothing otherwise ...).Having insulin, it does not facilitate health, so the price of the strips could be a factor to consider (with which I have they were between € 25 and € the 50 strips box), but not the most important(Expenditure around a box every month, month and a half, with the controls to calibrate the sensor, those of the hypos and someday that I make the full profile).

Thank you very much!

In Onetouch Verio Reflect it is a bit big and uncomfortable, but the prick does not change it.The Onetouch Plus prick is the one that hurts the least of all I have tried. When they gave it to me it seemed like very little and very weak, but when trying it no longer changed it because the punctures hurt much less than with any other one that has tried. As a glucometer, the smallest and comfortable is the contour Next One

Well, I don't want to know how the rest are 😅

My mother has a long time I think that Boli type Accouck and I think it's better although, of course, I never used it daily like this.It is that many times more than a puncture makes me like a crack and bleeds a lot, I guess something I will not do well.

Watch it at a lower value. It is that the difference with others is abysmal, to measure from time to time anyone is good, but if you measure yourself several times a day it is appreciated that it bothers less.

The SS has given me the One Touch and I don't like it very much.I've been with Abbott for years, I have 3, hahaha but they no longer give strips of this brand.

The prick does not matter, I bought one unwinding years ago, with 7 levels.

The key is in the size of the drop of blood, Abbott and One Touch need Gota Gorda, well, Abbott's insulinx no, with nothing I made you the measure.

The glucometers gave them before since the expensive are the strips.

Apart from that I know if it is because I am very clumsy per rookie, but with the Onetouch there are times for the strips to fail me.

I am going to look at the little one that @Toniec recommended to always carry it on, because it is true that the OT is big.I see myself asking the magician kings for diabetes, including a new backpack 😂

I always have 2 glucometers of different brands for when I get a value that does not fit the sensor.

To my surprise almost all errors are the fault of one of the glucometers, not free2.

The glucometers are very good to detect drops but in hypers, not so much.

@Sherpa41 You are one of the very few who is happy with free2 as a sensor. The measure of the capillary glucometer is the correct measure, the sensor never.Any endocrine tells you.Why do you think Abbott tells you that you look with hair glucometer before any decision?Because they already warn that they are not precise, they are approximation parameters.

@Thera yes, how little the One Touch uses me has failed me more than the freestyle glucometer that is what I usually use.The SS only gave me 100 strips for 3 months. So, I bought abbot strips that are quite cheaper.19.90eur 50 strips.

Compare it with 2 glucometers.Do not stay alone with one.It seems to me that they have worsened a lot in recent years.

In a year using sensors (except on the 1st day that does not count), the other days are more reliable the values of my sensor than those of the glucometer.I carry it in a leg place that never crushes.

Freestyle's glucometer tends to mark less. The Sinocare in the hypers usually marks less, but if I make another measurement followed. The Vivachek always marks more.Although it is the only one who, when making two measurements in a row, does not change the value. The others are a mess.

The accu chek Aviva makes me the same as the unocare costing the strips 5 times more ...

I think the only difference is that the guide is easier for me to use ... in the sense that it has fewer buttons ... when I use them, I will see how such, now I will finish the strips that I have left of the other...
