ADT offers 30 talks about diabetes in several schools

CajaCanarias will support a project that the Tenerife Diabetes Association (ADT) requested it in the last call for aid for social programs 2008, related to information in schools that have schools with children with type 1 diabetes.
The project includes a total of 30 talks in centers of Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hiernecessary to adopt responsible decisions regarding the way of treating a student with diabetes, solving doubts and/or solving specific problems that may arise in relation to diabetes and encourage the sense of social responsibility in relation to health problems.
To develop this work, Cajacanarias will contribute six thousand euros to the ADT, which will have qualified professionals in diabetes as responsible for the execution of this project in 2009.
