how to diagnose the type of diabetes

Next Thursday I go to endo, .. How will the type of diabetes diagnose?With the glycemia curve? ..... if so, is it too radical test?Or it is the only way to know ...... What other tests will you do?...all the best

In this link you have a broad explanation:
Normally before very clear symptoms (eating, drinking and urinating a lot+weight loss+age below 35-40) do not usually do more tests.
In case of doubts, antibody tests should be done.
And in any case, what seems essential to me is peptide C to know insulin reserves and have no surprises with medication (oral antidiabetics or insulin)
