Support for Diabetics Associations of Castilla-La Mancha

The objective is the development of training programs or activities on diabetes, aimed at the general population, patients or their relatives.

Promoting diabetes training among members of the Diabetics Associations of Castilla-La Mancha and the general population, as well as helping the creation and consolidation of the associative movement are the main objectives of the call for aids for the realization of training activities by training by training activities byDiabetic associations that the Regional Government, through the Sociosanitary Foundation of Castilla-La Mancha, has just published.

In this way, the regional government has provided this call with a total of 15,000 euros, and each association may request a maximum of 800 euros that will be used to carry out training activities among the members of these entities, their relatives or the rest of thesociety.

The associations may present all those projects that estimate appropriate, with the sole limitation that these have a positive impact on the formation of the patient with diabetes, as well as that they are carried out within the autonomous community Castilian-Manchega.

All diabetes patients associations and their families may submit the application for this call for aid before April 29, the instances must be directed to the Sociosanitary Foundation of Castilla-La Mancha.

The resolution of this call will be made within 15 business days, from the final date of presentation, and its beneficiaries, once the subsidized action is carried out, they must send to the Foundation the justifying memora of the activity before theOctober 31, 2011.

During the past year, aids for activities such as: Cooking Workshop for Diabetics, Diabetological Dissemination of the child with diabetes at school, website with information and help tools for diabetics, coexistence in Guadalajara for diabetic children and adolescents, guide guide, guideInformative of diabetes for schools and the realization of an educational day on nutrition and diabetes, among others.
