Welcome to the forum, Montse

Month and peak to see the GP?: Shock :: Shock:
Can't you refer to another even if it is not yours? When my doctor is on vacation is what patients are distributed among those who work.

In this link you have a guide that can be useful:

The normal thing is that they put a diet, they advise you to exercise and perhaps, they put an oral antidiabetic (it is usually given metformin).

The diet, in your case, will surely be low in calorie to try to reduce weight.
In addition, all those foods with an abundance of sugars (sugary sodas, industrial bowling, table sugar etc) are contraindicated, fruits must be eaten in moderation although you can eat anyone .... I especially advise you to melon and watermelon because they have a lotwater and little amount of sugar.

Carbohydrates must be controlled, basically are the foods that are born from Earth and milk (and all their derived products), that is, rice, wheat, potatoes, bread, legumes etc.

As for the exercise, it is simple, if you are able to walk 10,000 steps per day you will have covered the exercise. It is recommended to walk every day every day at a good pace.
Regularity is much more important, exercise every day, than intensity.

Finally, if with diet+exercise+weight reduction it is possible to control diabetes without even resorting to medication.

At the moment yesterday I started with a typical Mediterranean diet, is it the healthiest that I know, by the way legumes can be eaten ... and what are not the quantities ,,, and the fresh cheese?I've turned to the Super this afternoon looking at labels that I hardly understand:?

An example of 1000 kcal diet: http: // www.fisterra.com/health/2dietas/d ... _menus.asp
As you can see in the example of the fruits of that website, it does not matter the fruit that you eat the important thing is the amount

You should eat everything, only in small quantities and appropriate to each food.
A small trick is to start using small dishes exclusively
