DM2 glycemic control study in primary care

I attach this study that seems to me, on the one hand very revealing and on the other chilling.

It is a study with 679 patients from all over Spain (type1, type 2 with and without insulin)

I sign up some data:
1 in 2 patients with diabetes treated in primary care are poorly controlled
35% have obesity, 86% dyslipremia, 79% hypertension

Only 5.8% meets all the control requirements that marks the American Diabetes Ada, usual guide for the rest of the world)

The percentage of patients with a satisfactory glycemic control in the group of patients in insulin treatment (type 1 and 2) was half that of unrelated patients
With insulin.

Almost 60% of the doctors who treated patients outside the control target (glycosiladJustice, painful ... and 35 adjectives more than I shut up.

I know that reading these studies is boring and often difficult (on their own experience) but if you want to know how diabetes is and patients in Spain this is a good starting point.
