Good afternoon, I would like to ask you a question
My 75 -year -old father suffers from type II diabetes.
Do you know if Goji berries are contraindicated for diabetics ???
Of course, we do not intend to be a substitute for its treatment with insulin, but as
Extra iron contribution that I think could do well.
Thank you very much in advance

I had never heard of those berries.
According to "San Google", it looks like a type of dry or semi -style fruit, such as the raisins.
Like every food, it will depend on the amount of hydrates you have for your father to know how much to eat and with what precautions.
If what is intended is to take them as an extra, not as an alternative to treatment, I do not see inconvenience, but always knowing how much glycemia can rise.
Regarding its benefits, I always put in quarantine what is sold as something so wonderful, but does not seem harmful at least.

Greetings

This information comes in Google:

In my humble opinion all the natural products that serve for various pathologies, do not serve any.I think everything must be consulted.
