Hello, I am a father of a type 1 diabetic child is 3 years old and the truth is in a moment of insertion in the face of the treatment that the endocrine has put us with getting it into the desired values and we are trying to inform ourselves with respect to the insulin bombSince we have read that it is being chosen apart from good results it seems to me that it is giving people better quality of life, my problem is the following someone will know if somewhere in the Canary Islands they put these bombs because according to the endocrine here or by the partThe Nó since I do not work someone recommends some endocrine to work it, I specifically live in Tenerife but if I have to move so that my son is better I would move to China if he fails I wait for an encouraging response ... Thank you.

Hi Jvad
I do not know much the care situation of diabetes in the Canary Islands, but it seems that insulin bombs are scarce by your land.
Still I believe that in Tenerife Dr. Luis Morcillo, of the University Hospital, and in Las Palmas to Dr. Boroná and Dr. Wagner, of Insular, have experience with bombs.
You could get more information in the Tenerife Diabetes Association:

Hello, I hope that Owas has solved the doubt, I have no idea how that goes for the Canary Islands, but I can tell you that I am Andalusian and for reasons of work I had to move to Castilla la Mancha, and here they have put it to meOnly 3 weeks ago and the hospital has run with all expenses (infusion pump, sensor, glucose measuring apparatus and acetonic bodies, etc).I personally advise you that do put it on , although I do not know any cases in such young children but I know of good ink that here (Alcazar de San Juan) are recommended to put them on children. My doctor is Jesús Moreno and is a good endocrine, he and his whole team of nurses, they are helping me a lot, it was to tell them that I would like to have a baby, but that he could not lower hemoglobin and immediately offered me to put it on (I hope this yearMy dream is fulfilled).
I am not being able to give you more information, I would like to have told you somewhere to go, there in your land, to help your little one.All the best,
Paula
