Diabetes and Ocular Health

I do not know if you know that the Federation of Spanish Diabetics (FEDE) and Novartis have launched the 'Diabetes and Ocular Health' initiative with the objective to diagnose and prevent possible eye diseases among the diabetic population.
The initiative, aimed at the diabetic population, has had as its main objective to prevent and diagnose views derived from diabetes, such as diabetic macular edema (EMD), a severe microvascular complication that can lead to blindness.
The day has had the participation of doctors Ángel Cabrera, president of the Fede;Fernando González, head of the Ophthalmology Service of the Alcázar Hospital, and Javier Lara, retinologist at the Alcazar Hospital, who have performed tests of "Fund of the Eye" with a retinographer.
