I do not know if hyperinsulinism is the same as reactive hypoglycemia, that is, an excessive insulin production response when carbohydrates are detected, and hence hypoglycemia.

Sugarless soft drinks do not have to do any damage.

I don't know if it's chronic or not.I hope someone who knows more can guide you better.

If you had excess ammonium (one of the causes of hyperinsulinism), the recommended diet would be a strict control of proteins ...
