Hello good, I don't know what to do recently I had it quite controlled (the top I could have was about 200-250 and very rarely) but now and I returned to the same of more than 300 and then lowered meaningless almost daily.Against I try to make it well worse and I know I don't know very well what to do because if when I get things right, the only thing that makes me want is to happen a bit of all this without worrying in hydratesNeither exercises nor anything.
It seems very very complicated to control it and after almost 10 years I can say that I don't know how to control it and I think I should know.

Hello Campanilla,
I have also passed through times like yours, especially in seasonal changes (from cold to heat and vice versa), or traveling (schedules), or when you incubate some viruses, or when you start playing sports after time, it is the bad thingof diabetes, which there are no fixed rules, and each person has their circumstances and a day to day.
Give yourself some time, and return to the classic control guidelines, better control the food, minimize hydrates to the maximum and also insulin (I suppose you are type 1), and little by little, with patience, you will see how improvements.
In my case, I have ended up buying a continuous glucose meter, and it has been like seeing the light ... I have a dexcom G4, and I recommend it totally, it is expensive, but it is worth it.

Well, in the fast mornings I don't wear anything because I don't breakfast, at 11:00 I put 18 of Levemir, at the time of food I put 4 quickly and x every 50 plus one more unit (example 200 5 units ofinsulin), at dinner time the same 4 quick rectifying whether it is higher and at 23.00 9 of Levemir
Then I exercise from 7 in the afternoon.
I believe that I carry with insulin so a lot of time and there are times that I do well and sometimes that I don't and I don't know why the only thing that changes me when I go to the endocrine is the lighting that always tells me that it puts me 19 instead of 18 andAlfinal I have to remove that unit more since I don't get off all day.
Greetings and thanks

Campanilla: I had been with uncontrolled blood glucose for years, with a glycosilated 11% and well-controlled tension 14-15/7.But recently I lowered the pulsations to 35-40 and just implanted a pacemaker. Now, after the scare of the pulsations, I have decided to control rigorously.I calculate that glycosilada must walk around 9%, and down. How?My calculations are that for each gram of HC I raise glycemia 6 units and each insulin unit lowers the blood glucose 4 mg.Each one must find out their figures, for example: on an empty stomach, you immediately take 7 grams of sugar dissolved in water or hair. Two hours later you measure yourself and you know how much glycemia raises you for each gram of HC.Then you put the fast units that you think is convenient and measure again after two hours. So you will know your figures approximately. With my figures I calculate how much insulin I must put on the following calculation (glycemia-60)/4 = insulin units to inject.I use the Mixtard Humalog or Actrapid interchangeably or mixed according to what the following glycemia measure shows me.These are not advice but a reflection of my own experience.I don't want to replace any specialist. When I am hungry, I make a "snack" with escarole or lettuce leaves and a slice of cooked ham without salt.Breakfast a glass of water with 200cl of soybeans or milk with 10 grams of All Bran and a slice of cooked ham without salt.Twice in week two scrambled eggs with mushrooms or peeled and cooked prawns or simply grilled meat or grilled fish.Of snack equal to breakfast without all Bran, from dinner the same food with there in a little water and milk or in a puree of vegetables.Well, I just bore them. When my glycosilada has dropped to 7% with measuring a couple of times a day and injected many others I will have learned.Once a week I will measure me 5 times to see how the thing is going.Luck.

It is not necessary to stop measuring when hemo better. To have a good hemoglobin it is necessary to always measure much.
What you comment on taking sugar and measuring how much it goes up has any but that another ... If the blood glucose rises from 170, part of the sugar is filtered by the kidneys and does not raise blood glucose, therefore the test loses a little meaning.I think it's better to try insulin. You take a ration of hydrates (10 grams) and you put what in theory corresponds to you ... and depending on what goes up or down at 2 or 3 hours to modify.
In your diet you do not give up carbohydrates, better. Our diet has to be balanced and healthy ... All Bran carries hydrates, milk too ...

There is always HC in milk or soybeans and in the All Bran.I always add to my glycemia to calculate the insulin that I have to chute the HC that I am going to take, how much less I take much better, whatever "the balanced diet" (the one they gave me, special for diabetics and hypertensive, inThe hospital uploaded the sugar to 380, until I decided to treat the diabetes on my own while I was there). The All Bran is essential (only 10 grs. To breakfast and dinner) to avoid constipation.Your calculation method seems good to me.The important thing is to measure how much sugar rises for each gram of HC and work accordingly. If you do well, do not change for anything in the world and disclose your story.I recommend to everyone who knows English to buy the book "Diabetes Solution" by Richard Bernstein.

I am taking it seriously because I want to be fine tomorrow and today, I have changed the endocrine since I was gone to another hospital and on Friday I had review with the new and for the moment I go I think this thisStocking with insulin changes, I saw my continuous meter and seen that there is too much glucose movement (like a roller coaster (and that this week controls me more)) I believe that if I exercised throughout the dayI would have it perfect because every time I exercise the levels are then quite good, but being 8 hours sitting because it shows a lot.
Thank you for telling me your Erguiye experience, and if I do well, I'm glad.
Greetings to all
