Dogs for diabetics

Hello!

I leave you a link that I just saw.It is a report on trained dogs to detect hypoglycemia, hyperglycemia and some more things.

No, when they detect drugs they put them to smell them., but a dog will not always be aware of the hypos .. they have their lives.

Yes, if they are reliable!They are used to wake up every little at night.Dogs do not sleep like pulling humans, but they have a shallow dream, they are always alert.

My endocrine told me that a patient was adjusting to his dog to detect the hypos and that very well.The race a Schnauzer Mini.I have 2 Beagles, and although they have a very good smell, they always go to their ball, it is not a good race to train them for this.

My dog is a poodle and the poor is blind so has enough to worry about my sugar hehe.

Many years ago I met a dog that detected the hypos of its owner, a 7 -year -old girl and is hallucinated ... and stunned ... but fate has wanted my Yorkshire to show me that it is possible.Of course, it is not trained or anything like that but gets in front of me and bricks me/howls in a special way to make themselves understood.In his own way he tells me that something happens and then it is a matter of going and looking.

It is also true that he notices it when for example I was at 200 and I lowers me at 100 or so ... if he is going down little by little as it happens to us sometimes he does not realize.I think he tells me that something is changing further than from the dowers but it is already worth it.

These hairy are superlisos and it shows me day by day, it is great to be able to sleep from the pull trusting that my little one will get me out of trouble.

I think it goes in its nature, who has a dog will know ... they are always attentive to everything.They notice any change of humor, health, of whatever ... are great !!!!

Never!And see that I usually leave it on the arm of the sofa at night to remember my night dose of Lantus and has never approached or smell it.My chuches has a very thin smell and bothers him I believe that smell so characteristic that insulin has.

If it fails, yes but less than me and the device.She is a faithful companion.
Kas is trained in Bocalan, then there is another company in Zaragoza and I think in Andalusia too.
