Strips

I have bought them for Ebay, I think my insurance will give them to me, but until I go to the endocrine, I make a report ... So while I am starting, I have caught them for ebay.Two things to take into account, the model of the device and the expiration date, right now I have caught two 50 packages that expire in September, but I am going to do enough controls because I am starting.It is shameful that in Social Security do not give strips, especially if they ask me for controls to take them, but well, to see if later I can give it to me insurance and however I will space the measurements I will continue to buy for the same place.

I have left the two packages with shipping costs for € 47 or so.Although from another glucometer model of the same brand they were cheaper, I try to change it.

In diabetic associations they sell them cheaper than in the pharmacy.
Here in ZGZ, for example, the "Freestyle Opium" meter in Pharmacy is worth more than € 50, in the association I bought for € 10.And the strips I think they told me € 35 or 38 and the lancetas about € 10.
In all cities there are diabetic associations where in addition to informing and giving courses, they also sell material and much cheaper than in pharmacy.

By eBay in that same link.I bought apart from the case with the glucometer and pencil, 200 strips and replacement lancets, shipping costs are free.You have to put that you suffer from diabetes and make you discount automatically.They go very well and are very economical and is very easy to use.It took me to arrive a week.

I have already reached the strips I asked for eBay, all very well, I have tried them with others that I had at home to compare and the measure is quite close in both, a difference of 4 between one and the other, so well.

In the end I bought them at Amazon, 2 boxes 26 euros with express shipping costs included (less than 24 hours).In eBay there were $ 23 + $ shipping costs that, how is the dollar, will be practically the same and I don't think they go so fast.

I have been doing tests with 3 meters and has some deviation up, but I think it is acceptable, in addition the one that normally uses the glucomanlx has downward deviation.

Comparison with the same drop of blood, most of the time the Onetouchultra2 and the Codefree are closer and the glucomanlx which is the one that gives me the insurance marks less.

When I am in hicc as they do well and when I am 100 too.It is when I am more than 150 that the Codefree deviates up and the glucomen down with respect to the Onetouch Ultra.The ultra2 Onetouch I think is the most reliable, but it needs a lot of blood.

Here a more common capture of what usually happens when I am more than 150. The ones I have put before were a bit exceptional.

I have repeated 2 times the same analysis with the same device many times, we are always missing a result and always gives the same again (if you do it correctly).The problem is when you compare several meters.
