The Official Gazette of Navarra (BON) has published a resolution by which the population registration of type 1 diabetes is created and regulated together with the corresponding personal data file. Its purpose is to have an integrated information system that contributes to evaluate healthcare and allow to strengthen the epidemiological and clinical research of the disease.

According to the resolution between the objectives of the registration is: knowing and analyzing the information on incidence, prevalence, morbidity and mortality of the disease, as well as its geographical distribution, identify risk groups, plan and evaluate assistance and prevention activities, facilitateThe realization of epidemiological studies and the basic and clinical research of the disease, disseminate relevant information, between professionals and general population and normalize the information according to standardly approved guidelines nationally and internationally.

Diabetes mellitus constitutes a priority public health problem that requires adequate intervention strategies, both in relation to disease prevention and health promotion, and with the management of health resources and the evaluation of actions.

Proper planning can only be achieved by handling exhaustive and reliable information about the disease. Therefore, the creation of the Population Registry of Type 1 Diabetes is considered essential, attached to the endocrinology service of the Hospital Complex of Navarra, which allows to know and investigate the problem of the disease in order to properly design the health action plans in relation to saiddisease.

The article speaks of "adequate intervention strategies in relation to disease prevention."Can type 1 diabetes be prevented?

On the other hand, I suppose these things are done with a "benefactor" objective. But having to sign up for law reminds me a lot of episodes already lived unfortunately in Europe.

I see something "weird" too.You go from presenting a very positive air initiative, planning and evaluation and such ... and will end up evaluating how much those sick people cost and how to plan that they spend less.

This disease already puts the "pandemic" label, and it is only enough that they have us controlled and assign us an annual "individualized" budget.

It will be that I tend to think of everything and all, but many things that begin with such a cool air end up becoming nightmare.

Diabético y gafapasta.
