Diabetes short films, more than 300 films

More than 300 short films have been presented to the second edition of the "Short of Sugar" contest organized by Novartis and the Federation of Spanish Diabetics (Fede) to promote the awareness of type 2 diabetes and help recognize the importance of their symptoms.
The short film entitled "The first strides" has been the winner of this second edition of the contest and has obtained the 6,000 euros of the award, the organizers have reported today.
Among all the short films presented, fourteen to the final, of which half were chosen by the public vote on the YouTube channel and seven others were selected by the jury, chaired by Albert Solé, journalist and documentary director.
The members of the jury of the contest have chosen the short winner and the four second awards, among the fourteen finalist videos.
The second winning awards are the short films titled "Duties", "Give a whim", "Holidays for the type of diabetes 2" and "Good face", which have won a prize of 1,000 euros each.
