Hello...

My 72 -year -old mother suffers from diabetes but does not need insulin injections, just take some pills. My question is, in case of taking agave syrup, should you go to the doctor to modify the treatment or not necessary?

Thank you so much.

First time I hear the agave syrup: shock :: idea:
Using Sangoogle, it seems that its greatest benefit is that it is a low glycemic index sweetener, that is, when it is taken, the blood glucose is taken slowly ... This, theoretically, is beneficial for the type 2. His composition is fructose+dextrosethat in one way or another if it is consumed in excess will highly raise blood glucose.

To the question you ask whether you should change the treatment ... Well, it depends on the amount of syrup you take, but it will almost be easier for the sweetener for saccharin or aspartam that glycemia do not upload anything ... before takingAnother pill
