"Diabetes without limits": an Italian cyclist will unite Ushuaia Alaska by bicycle

Mauro Talini, a type 1 diabetic Italian who will unite Ushuaia with Alaska by bicycle in favor of solidarity and healthy life of diabetics.

Under the slogan “Diabetes without limits” Mauro Talini, ill of type 1 diabetes, left on January 1, 2013, to the crossing that will take Alaska on his bike, giving a hopeful message for those who suffer from diabetes.The cyclist has planned to arrive in Alaska at the end of July 2013, pedaling around 8 hours per day.

“It is exciting to receive a cyclist who will start from our city starting a unique journey in favor of health.It is an excellent example for all those who suffer diabetes or any disease, overcome personal limits through sport, ”said Siracusa.

For his part, Talini showed himself with many expectations and happiness of starting his journey in our city: "I really want to start this trip, and start from Ushuaia, the end of the world, it is the best beginning I could have."
