The Elda Hospital teaches a diabetes workshop for primary care

Professionals of the Endocrinology Service of the General University Hospital of Elda yesterday a workshop to primary care professionals on the protocols to be followed in the management of diabetes mellitus and the most common vascular complications of this pathology.These are those that occur in eyes, kidneys and feet.

The objective of the training session was to update the knowledge of primary care doctors and nurses in this area and to improve the assistance provided to these patients in the first healthcare step, consequently improving the prognosis of the disease.

This workshop is part of the collaboration line between the Endocrinology Service of the Elda Hospital and Primary Care of the Department.
