I just finished reading the book.I have taken a long time but when you read in the few gaps you have ...
I liked it a lot and I have to recommend it to all types of diabetics:
Those who begin, because all the secrets of their new partner and all in 240 pages will know.
Those who have been, because apart from discovering things we did not know, it helps us to refresh knowledge that we had forgotten.
It can also be useful for family, friends, teachers who have a student with diabetes, and of course, for anyone who wants to know more about the disease
A but .... I changed the name of the "White Book of Diabetes" for "the Bibilia del Diabetico";)
And I do not forget to mention that the book is structured in a curious way that reminds me of a novel or a movie.It begins as a "flashback" telling the story of how they discovered insulin almost a century ago and that little progress has been made so far, all the aspects that the diabetics should know and ending with a demolish criticism towards how little thatWe import to the pharmaceutical industry beyond having us as "insulin" clients, although it softens this bitter taste talking about all open research fronts and that are almost reality.
