He explained that although there is a module for that purpose, exams are random and frequently aimed at specific population groups (older adults, hypertensive, TB patients, etc.).
“During this week and the next one we are going to make diabetes detections throughout the age of legal age and those who are with high values, will be referred to the Regional Public Health Laboratory for a blood test, on an empty stomach, which is more reliable than the presumptive"He said.
He indicated that one of the conferences already confirmed to celebrate the day, will take place on November 27 by Dr. José Alan Martínez González.

He stressed that the campaign in question will focus on promoting healthy eating as a key factor in the fight against diabetes, since what we eat avoids the appearance of type 2 diabetes, in addition to that prevents complications in those who already suffer from the disease.
