He denied that the Foundation had met with the health regulator to present the treatment.

The Federal Commission for Protection against Health Risks (Cofepris) initiated various processes against the "Vive your Diabetes" Foundation for the alleged disease vaccine.

"There is no diabetes vaccine accepted by Cofepris," said Commissioner Álvaro Pérez Vega, who added that authemotherapy lacks scientific evidence.

The commissioner added that the sanction fines for the treatment could exceed one million 100 thousand pesos because it is illegal, since it deceives the patient with diabetes.

According to this treatment, the diabetes patient could extract blood from various parts of his body that was mixed with saline solutions and was injecting again, so Pérez described him as a "miracle product."

"They have never appeared against Cofepris, they did things in the way they estimated relevant and makes no sense," Pérez said in an interview with MVS news, who added that there is an international alert against the alleged vaccine.

He added that any sanitary registration file requires scientific evidence based on tests and laboratory studies, as well as evidence in humans and specific population once the procedure is available.

COFEPRIS is certified by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a regulatory and ceritifying body, which also serves as a vaccine reservoir that can be used worldwide.
