Dexcom sensor G4 in the twin

Forgive but it happened to me to tell you the Dexcom test in the twin.

I put the sensor with the needle up on the theme of the twin when it gets hard, look at many photos of forums and Facebook of US people to see exactly where they put it on.

The first fault was to have been sitting with one leg on another, when I got up, I threw myself a lot, I had to lift the tape with great care so that the filament did not come out and I hit it with Skin Tac, but of course I do not fieThe part of the filament.

The great sensor with its calibrations. The next day or two days ago I had my first half marathon. They were 21 km running and I thought it was a good test to see the result.I took the glucometer in case the flies.

I had no discomfort, it seemed that I noticed something but I believe that I was more psychological, I was afraid if the sensor started.

In case someone wants to see how the average you can see here, I don't want to bore you in the forum, here I leave the link:
Link

After this test I did 2.5 hours of high -resistance indoor cycle all the time sitting and with great resistance during all the time, the twins and quadriceps very hard and not noticed anything, everything great did not notice anything and the values proven very well.

The test continued mountain bicycle 2,700 meters altitude accumulated in 70 km, I can assure you that it is enough, all the same did not notice the filament again the twins as stones.

There were several more outputs by mountain bike, road bike, running and indoor cycle and zero discomfort.

Well, sensations of zero discomfort, but the sensor only lasted me 15 days, the last two with some interrogations, so I will dismiss this place of placement because it is a very delicate area to put and for the duration of the same, you may ask youAnd why don't you try on the other if each sensor can be a life?Because it has only lasted two weeks and I recognize that it is a complicated area.

Let's see if someone tried the area and tells us to see how it is doing, if I do well, I would try in the other twin again.

I really do not advise you to put it there, all day thinking about that area to see if I noticed something or not.

There in the photos you can see the placement of the sensor, it is on the twin of the left leg.

Thank you very much @lemurdiabetico I had commented on the theme of the sensor that was going to do it and I didn't say even, let's have zero formality.
Thank you @beti my problem with the sport has been for 41 years stopped, to have practically atrophied muscles, to move as I now move little by little, before I controlled only with insulin and diet. That is why I fight, because we all do some sport, it is much easier to wear everything, it is true that you have to control more, but there are rarely insulin resistance, stop taking pills for cholesterol and a thousand more things. That children do sports, that adults even if only good walks are given, in addition to our diabetes psychologically it helps.
Lemurdiabetico is a great person who always teaches us everything related to sport, I follow all his experiences and chronic.

= D> Indeed, congratulations on staying with that sports spirit and willpower for not leaving it at least.I have always been a sports person since I was little, tennis, karate, volleyball, aerobic, but from my debut at 30, now 11 years ago I recognize that I have stopped.I only had an approx -year time that went to the Gym for Aerobic and Steps, and they gave me a couple of Yuyus apart from getting to atibor me before out of fear of whim, I never managed to control it.I have also taken the bike lately in Paseo Paseo on Sundays (in summer especially), and 2 and 3 hours walks on Saturday afternoon, but what was said without continuity. You have to put the batteries reading this post;) Tomorrow they give sun and higher temperatures, to see if I take the bike jiji.

Ahh great the photo of the sensor, when you said in the twin area, I imagined above, but I see that it is a bit next to the calf. Thanks for sharing experience.

What do you usually run where you place the sensor so that they last?
I have been putting it in the upper butty part for years and this time I have tried in front of the thigh and has lasted me very little, when running I noticed that the area hardens and put the happy ones ???, so I fear that the same thing happens in the twin since it is a area of much muscle.
