The administration headed by Miguel Ángel Mancera published in the Official Gazette of the Federal District, the new Internal Regulations of the Diabetes Institute - which enters into force - which seeks to regulate the organization, operation and operation of the health agency.
The publication mentions that the Institute will develop its activities in a scheduled manner and in accordance with the powers conferred by the Law, the Regulation, the General Development Program of the Federal District and the other current health provisions.
The agency will be integrated by a headline, appointed by the general director of local public health services;also by a representative of the center specialized in diabetes management;one more of the teaching and research area;and another of the care services area.
The activities that will have the head of the center specialized in the management of diabetes will be to prepare, plan, organize, coordinate, direct and control the work and development program of activities.
Meanwhile, the service area will promote diabetic patient care, through clinical and laboratory tools;It will normal therapeutic behavior in coordination with the multidisciplinary health team, and develop activities that limit the patient the risk of developing the complications of this condition.
Likewise, this area will develop medical care and health services actions, and will define management in promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of diabetes.
