Cemanud - Diabetes Center turns 1 month

The Cemanud, unique in its kind in the region, offers comprehensive services related to nutrition, prevention of obesity and diabetes, in addition to psychological consultation and a special space for breastfeeding.
Ileana Fajardo Niquete, head of the Nutrition Department of the Municipal DIF, reported that three cooking workshops with soybeans were also given, aimed at beneficiaries of the consultations;Women in breastfeeding are received daily, who are offered informative and educational talks about the benefits of breastfeeding their children.
"We attend patients from all age groups, range from infants to elderly," he said.The center works with four groups of 25 people, who daily receive guidance.
