Woman, sport and diabetes

ADEBI promotes the first solidarity race with diabetes, immersed within the calendar of activities of Women and Sports.

Pedro Mora, president of the Bierzo Diabetics Association (ADEBI) and Emilio Villanueva, president of the Villanueva Peña Ciclistof 'Food and Sports' promoted by the International Federation of Diabetes (FID) and Women's and Sports Week, which will be held on April 16 and 18 at the House of Culture of Ponferrada.

It is a solidarity test with diabetes that has had the collaboration of the Peña Ciclista Villanueva and the sponsorship of the Bercian journalist Luis del Olmo.The test, which will be played on April 18 at 9:00 p.m., will have a night tour with departure from the sports facilities of the Flores del Sil Club and will pass through the different streets of the neighborhood.

Adebi's intention is that this event "becomes a sport party where solidarity and equality are combined."For this, there will be different modalities for the participation of all types of audiences, whether professionals, fans, moms and dads with carts or disabled.

March to Alto de Bouzas

In another order of things, the Bierzo Diabetics Association will carry out this Saturday, March 7, the last route from the quarter to Alto de Bouzas that will last four hours.It will leave at 9 in the morning from the headquarters of Adebi, located at the basement of the El Toralín stadium.
